Privacy Policy

You can use TextKits's text, audio, image, and file tools without creating an account or providing payment details. Most of the content you enter or select is processed on your device.

Your experience is not completely offline or storage-free. Your browser may save tool inputs and selected files on your device, download models or other files from outside providers, and send ordinary visit information to hosting, analytics, or advertising services. The sections below explain when each of those things happens and what you can control.

When you type or paste text, your browser normally creates the result on your device. When you choose an image, audio recording, font, text document, or JSON file, your browser normally reads that file locally to create a preview, conversion, edit, or download. Your content is not added to a server-side TextKits account or upload library.

When you transcribe audio, your browser decodes the recording and runs the speech-recognition model on your device. When you turn text into speech, your browser runs the voice model and creates the audio on your device. TextKits does not send those audio files or scripts to an outside server for processing.

When you edit an image or export a result, your browser normally creates the preview and downloaded file locally. The same applies to supported text-file, JSON, and custom-font tools. Some files you select may also be saved on your device so the tool can restore them later, as explained below.

The first time you use some audio features, your browser needs to download the software and model files that make the feature work. These files may come from jsDelivr, Hugging Face, related model-hosting services, or TextKits. Some downloads may be large and may take longer on a slow connection.

Those providers receive the information normally included with a file request, such as your IP address, browser details, requested file, time, and network diagnostics. TextKits does not intentionally add your typed text, audio samples, or selected images to those download requests.

After the download finishes, the model runs on your device. Your browser may keep a cached copy so the feature starts faster next time. If you clear your browser cache or site data, your browser may need to download the files again.

To help you continue where you left off, most tool pages automatically save your current inputs and settings in localStorage, a storage area in your browser. A tool may also save your drafts, recent items, favorites, snippets, style recipes, or configurations. These items stay with that browser profile; they are not synced to a TextKits account.

If you select a file on a supported tool page, your browser may keep a local copy in IndexedDB, another browser storage area, so the page can restore the file later. This may include an image, audio file, custom font, or another file you deliberately selected.

If you move text from one TextKits tool to another, your browser may hold that text in temporary storage called sessionStorage. It may also cache models and site files. Your locally saved data remains until you clear it with an available tool control, clear TextKits site data in your browser, the tool replaces it, or your browser removes it. Clearing saved tool settings does not automatically clear analytics cookies or cached model files.

If you use a prefill, cross-tool, or share feature, the text you are carrying may be added to the page address. That address can then appear in your browser history, bookmarks, copied links, request logs, analytics records, referrer information, or a feedback submission. Do not use these link features with confidential text.

When you paste or share a TextKits result somewhere else, that destination has its own privacy and storage practices. Review the destination before sharing anything sensitive.

When you visit TextKits, the site and the providers that host, deliver, and protect it may receive your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page or file, referring page, approximate region, time of the request, and basic error or security information.

This information is used to load the site for you, keep it secure, investigate failures, measure reliability, and prevent abuse. Because TextKits does not provide user accounts, it does not use the current public tools to build an account-level profile about you.

If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may record the pages you visit, performance information, clicks, scrolling, and general interaction patterns. They may use cookies, browser storage, scripts, or session identifiers and may receive the page address plus ordinary device and network information.

When you successfully generate, copy, or download a result, TextKits' custom analytics event reports the tool page, the kind of action, the number of characters, and whether a share link was present—not the raw text itself. If your text is already part of the page address, however, it may still be included in page or request data.

Google and Microsoft handle analytics data under their own privacy policies and retention settings. Where the law requires your consent for non-essential analytics, TextKits will use the available consent controls before enabling it.

If you submit the feedback form, TextKits receives your message, any reply email you choose to provide, the current page address and title, the page that referred you, your screen area, time, browser details, and approximate country. Cloudflare processes the submission and delivers it to the TextKits contact mailbox.

You do not have to send feedback or provide an email address. Do not include passwords, secrets, regulated data, or other sensitive material. If the current page address contains prefilled text, that full address may be sent with your feedback.

If TextKits displays ads, advertising partners such as Google AdSense may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad quality.

Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized using signals such as previous visits, ad interactions, approximate location, or browser information. Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, you will be asked before personal data or cookies are used for personalized advertising. You can accept, reject, or manage the available choices in the consent message.

Google and its advertising partners handle their data under their own privacy policies. You can read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your technical, analytics, advertising, or feedback information may be handled by providers that help TextKits host and secure the site, deliver files and models, measure usage, display ads, or deliver email. They receive only the information involved in the service they provide and handle it under their own terms and privacy policies.

TextKits may also disclose information when required to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, enforce the site terms, or protect you, other users, or the service.

TextKits does not sell the text, audio, images, or files you use in browser-local tools, and does not use that content to train a TextKits model.

Inputs, settings, selected files, and cached models saved on your device remain there until you clear them, a tool replaces them, or your browser removes them. Hosting logs, analytics records, advertising information, and provider logs remain for the periods set by operational needs, provider settings, and applicable law. Feedback and email may be kept as long as needed to reply, maintain reasonable records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

No browser storage or online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not use TextKits for medical records, payment credentials, passwords, private keys, confidential client files, or other highly sensitive or regulated information.

You can use tool-specific clear controls where available, clear TextKits site data and cache through your browser, block or delete cookies, restrict browser storage, and use available consent controls. If you block browser storage or required model downloads, some tools may not restore your settings or work correctly.

You may contact [email protected] to ask how your information is handled, request deletion of feedback or support messages you sent, or exercise rights available under the privacy laws that apply to you. Because TextKits has no user accounts and much of your tool data stays only in your browser, TextKits may not possess or be able to identify that local data.

TextKits is a general-audience utility site and is not intentionally directed to children under 13 or to anyone below the age of consent in their country. Pages that mention games or platforms are text-formatting utilities and compatibility guides, not services directed to children.

If you are not old enough to consent to data processing in your country, do not submit personal information through the tools or feedback form. If TextKits determines that a page or ad request requires child-directed or age-restricted treatment, it will apply the appropriate Google advertising treatment and disable interest-based advertising where required.
