A hacked text generator changes the appearance of a message you have already written. Start with a name, a short caption or a fictional signal-lost line. The result remains text: you can select it, copy it and edit it after pasting. Nothing needs to be installed in the destination app.
The noisy effect comes from Unicode combining marks added above, through or below characters. Other recipes replace supported letters with alternate Unicode characters or wrap them in symbols. Those approaches can look similar on screen but produce different strings, so compare the actual output rather than choosing by a style name alone.
Enter up to 200 UTF-16 units in the source box. Ordinary English letters usually use one unit each; emoji can use several. If a paste exceeds the limit, shorten it yourself and try again. The tool keeps your previous draft instead of cutting a character in half.
Start with the lighter preset, then adjust strength or the Above, Through and Below switches. Reroll changes the mark arrangement while keeping your settings. With the plain base, no wrapper and all marks off, you get your original source. Clear leaves the result empty; use Example when you want a sample.
The current preview and the first Current Recipe row contain the same string. Copy current takes that result. Show more reveals another batch of recipes without replacing the rows you were comparing. List and grid change how the gallery is arranged; the preview-size control changes display size only. Neither changes what you copy.
Try this supplied message: “Signal lost — meet @alex at https://example.com.” You may want the first two words to look damaged while the rest stays easy to read. Select that phrase and apply the effect there. The text outside the selection keeps its original characters and spaces.
Protection settings let you leave recognized links, mentions, hashtags and emoji plain. Check the highlighted ranges before copying, particularly when a link contains punctuation or a name uses an unusual format. Recognition covers useful common patterns; it is not a complete parser for every social app.
This is where the hacked text generator differs from applying the same noise everywhere. A working link and a clear invitation can matter more than a dramatic effect. Editing the source clears an old manual selection so it cannot silently move onto a different word.
Browse light accents, dense combining marks, alternate alphabets, reversed lettering and symbol wrappers. Labels identify recipes that force case, cover only part of an alphabet or deliberately mask characters. An unfamiliar character can appear as an empty box when the destination font lacks it.
Pin up to three recipes to compare with your original. The shortlist follows your current source, making it useful for checking the same message at different strengths. Copy one candidate when you have picked it; the labelled comparison bundle is for keeping several alternatives together. It includes labels, unlike a single-result copy.
Use the Glitch Text Generator for the existing quick four-mode workflow. The Corrupt Text Generator offers its separate corruption controls. Here, the focus is choosing which part of a message changes and checking that result before copying.
A short-looking phrase can contain many extra characters. The hacked text generator reports the selected result in graphemes, Unicode code points, UTF-16 units and UTF-8 bytes. Pick the unit and limit that match the rule you are checking. A grapheme count measures user-perceived character clusters; it does not tell you how many added marks or bytes a field stores.
If your chosen budget is exceeded, compare a gentler candidate with fewer generated marks. Apply it deliberately if it works for your message. The tool does not chop away the end of your source to make a count fit. Some settings cannot meet a very small budget, and different apps may count or filter the same string differently.
Open the optional two-line preview to see how marks sit beside ordinary text at a chosen line height. This is a generic layout check. It cannot reproduce the fonts, clipping or moderation rules of the place you will paste into. Test the actual destination before saving a permanent name or publishing a post.
Clean mode accepts a longer pasted result and removes the known combining-mark ranges described in its controls. Keep the original: the same ranges can contain legitimate accents. Cleaning cannot recover letters that a masking recipe replaced, and it is not a universal way to reverse decorative alphabets.
For text generated in the current session, your source remains available as a plain fallback. A cleaned result must fit the normal source limit before you reapply effects. Review it first rather than assuming that fewer visible marks means every character is unchanged.
Share setup creates a link only when you ask. Include your source only if you want the recipient to read it; otherwise share settings alone. Anyone who has a source-filled link can read that text.
